We Return Our
Calls
We have noticed an amazing phenomena in the
business world. As a consumer myself, I find
that when I call businesses I will get a return
call less that 10% of the time.... Don't these
people realize that I want to spend money with
them?
I recently made a call to a business who's name
had the word "prompt" in it. I guess I was
supposed to believe that this business handled
things "promptly".
I placed a call to this business and left a
message, I immediately hung up and called the
next business on my list. Like many people, I
spoke to several companies and I decided on one
in about 2 days.
A week later I received a return call from this
"prompt" company asking me to purchase their
service. I respectfully let them know I had made
a decision.
The point I'm getting at is that if I'm willing
to spend my spare time calling on your business
you should at least pay me the respect of a
return call.
